Founded over 20 years ago by rider and fundraiser Bob Caissie, the Charity Motorcycle Ride (CMR) continues to fundraise annually in support of Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation and the program

The annual attracts hundreds of motorcycle riders to Brantford for a one-day event, that includes hot food, live music, and a police-escorted 90-minute ride along the Grand River into Haldimand County, returning through Norfolk and Brant County to the home base at Brimich Logistics, 15 Kraemer's Way (at Hwy 403/Oak Park Rd). Riders are asked to pre-register online at the website, and use a personalized web page provided after registration to collect fundraising pledges. (Our giving platform continues to be powered by ZEFFY, with online registrations and fundraising directly provided to Lansdowne Children's Centre Foundation). Riders may also register to ride on the day. Cash, debit and credit is accepted. More event details, event schedule and ride map are available at our website. Corporate sponsorship is greatly appreciated. Partners will be recognized in promotional materials at the event and on social media.

Brantford’s loudest fundraiser is back and ready to roar. The 22nd running of the Charity Motorcycle Ride for Lansdowne Kids, presented by Ensuring Brant, will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, launching from a brand-new location: the Airport Community Hall, 3 Airport Road in Brantford.

“This ride means so much to so many people,” said organizer Brian Kinrade. “I’m thrilled to continue this great tradition and incredibly grateful to Ensuring Brant for once again stepping up to support kids and families in our community.”

Lynda Henriksen, Director of Development and Community Relations at Lansdowne Children’s Centre, praised the dedication behind the event.

“Brian and his volunteer team pour their hearts into this ride,” Henriksen said. “This event is dear to our community, and it’s incredibly moving to see hundreds of thunderous motorcycles riding in support of children, many of whom are small and quiet. The message of support is powerful.”
