🌱 The Giving Oak is Growing Again

Life has been incredibly busy over the past while, but the heart behind The Giving Oak has always been here.

I’m excited to share that we will slowly be starting things back up again to continue supporting families in our community.

The Giving Oak began as a way to help connect people with resources, share what we have, and make sure no one feels alone during hard times.

Over the coming weeks I’ll be sharing ways people can get involved β€” whether that’s donating items, volunteering, or helping spread the word.

Thank you to everyone who supported this project from the beginning. It means more than you know. 🌳🧑

🧑✨ HELP US RESTOCK FOR LITTLE ONES IN NEED! ✨🧑

Hey Giving Oak fam β€” we’re putting out a gentle call for donations to support our tiniest community members as the colder months approach. β„οΈπŸ‘ΆπŸ§€

We’re currently in need of:
🍼 Diapers (sizes 4, 5 & 6, mostly but any size helps)
πŸ§₯ Children’s winter clothing – coats, boots, hats, mitts, and warm layers (all sizes welcome!)

If your littles have outgrown their gear or you’d like to pick up an extra pack of diapers or socks on your next shopping trip, we’d be so grateful. Every bit helps keep a child warm, dry, and cared for this season. πŸ’›

HOLY BWOOT. All done! Thank you all for your support with this. It truly was a community-wide effort and we're so grateful to witness the true heart of Six Nations. We're going to take a break for the summer but keep an eye on our page for future events. As always please let us know if you have any suggestions about what our community might need and we'll keep it in mind for future events!
