🐾 SMART Fundraising Update 🐾

We had hoped to raise another $300 over the summer so we could make another $500 payment toward our outstanding bills. We didn't quite reach that goal, but we’re not worried! We have several fundraising options available, and there are lots of ways you can help support SMART while we continue working toward paying off our remaining debts.

We are officially $5,500 away from paying off our debt. We hope it's not too long until it's down to $0.

🐾 Fundraiser Update 🐾

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our garage sale last weekend! Thanks to your support, we raised $90 to help pay down SMART's remaining debts.

This brings us one step closer to our next $500 bill payment. We are hoping to raise another $300 before the end of the summer so we can make another payment toward one of our outstanding accounts.

With just a few days remaining, we have some exciting news!

🎉 6 full booklets have now been sold, plus additional tickets from several other booklets that are still out for sale.

That means we can currently account for a minimum pot of $850, with $425 going to the winner!

Our next goal is to reach a $1,000 pot before ticket sales close at 11:59 PM THIS Wednesday, June 24.

Why is $1,000 such an important milestone?

At a $1,000 pot:
🎉 The winner would receive $500
🐾 SMART would receive $500

That $500 would allow us to make one full payment toward one of our remaining accounts, helping us continue paying down the debts that remain after years of helping animals in need.

🐾 Fundraiser Update 🐾
What a wonderful weekend for SMART!

On Saturday, we participated in Minnedosa's Town-Wide Garage Sale and raised approximately $135 from garage sale items alone. We also sold several more Smencils and 50/50 raffle tickets throughout the day.

One of the highlights was meeting people who came specifically because they saw our Facebook post. Thank you for taking the time to find us and support our cause - we truly appreciate it! 🐶🐱

Today, we were set up at the Minnedosa Co-op Food Store and had another successful day. In fact, we finished selling out of another booklet early! 🎟️

Before we packed up, we had the pleasure of meeting Rebecca Snow Hare ( on Instagram), an author and cyclist who is currently traveling from Vancouver, BC to Newfoundland. She was incredibly kind and made a small donation to SMART. We wish Rebecca safe travels and all the best on her amazing journey across Canada! 🚲🇨🇦

We will be preparing another booklet of raffle tickets and hope to sell those out before ticket sales close on June 24.

Between our virtual ticket sales and the incredible support of local businesses helping us sell tickets, we now have four completely sold-out booklets!

That means we can officially account for a minimum pot of $500, with $250 guaranteed to go to the winner.
