Yesterday we celebrated the placement of our new bench designed and created by students at Crocus Plains High-school.

This bench features the teachings of Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility, and Truth. We hope it serves as a place for reflection, learning, and connection for all who visit.

The RV Dump Station at the Riverbank Discovery Centre is now open for the season!

💧Dump wastewater from your RV
💧Refill your tanks with clean water

Located on the East side of the wheelhouse on your way in/out of the main parking lot, the RV Dump Station is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and is 100% free! However, should you like to make a donation to keep these services free for those who need them, please stop by the front desk.

Birding Roam Thursdays are back! 🦆🌳

Join us for a free guided birding experience in collaboration with Westman Naturalists. Whether you’re a an experienced birder or just picking up binoculars for the first time, EVERYONE is welcome!

Spend your evening exploring the Assiniboine River corridor, learning to identify local species and discovering some of the best birding spots right here in Brandon!

If you’re planning a visit on 3:30 - 5:30 today May 13th, it might look a little more busy than usual. The Brandon School Division will be hosting a Cross Country run on our grounds - at the start and end of the event there will be high volumes of traffic along Conservation Drive!

Please take caution when visiting and watch out for little runners!

We are so grateful to be one of the locations for the Brandon Earth Day Clean up last Sunday! Our garbage, recycling bins & hearts are full - and our grounds are wonderfully empty of litter! 🌞🌳💚

This past Sunday our community came together for our annual Earth Day clean-up! 🌎
We’re beyond grateful for everyone who showed up, put in the work, and helped make a real impact in our city. Together, we collected a total of 906.25 lbs of waste — including 487.38 lbs of garbage and recycling, and 418.87 lbs of e-waste!♻️

Huge congratulations to our top collectors:
