🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *This momma, Glimmer, and her four kittens were surrendered yesterday. She is boarding separately from them to give her a break and allow her to gain some much needed weight back. She’s timid to start but the sweetest little angel when she realizes you’ll use gentle hands and offer wet food. She’s nervous around the other cats so she’ll require a slow and proper introduction to other animals. - Please note: pound hours are 9am-4:30pm, and we ask that you please call to arrange a meeting or give us a heads up prior to coming to ensure we have staff available to help you.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2094 for detailed information.

🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *I don’t see how you can hate from outside the cuddle puddle when you can’t even get in. These four boys: Yonnie, Vonnie, Donnie, and Ronnie were surrendered with their mom yesterday. They were put into a separate kennel at intake to give mom a break so she can start gaining weight, but they still get to roam the cat room together. The boys are 10-12 weeks old, cute, cuddly, and ready to get the good life started! This group will need to be adopted either in pairs or into a home with other cats as they’re used to having their siblings around. While they have been relatively calm and sleepy since arriving, they will absolutely climb your curtains at 3am. - Please note: pound hours are 9am-4:30pm and we ask that you please call to arrange a meeting or give us a heads up prior to coming to ensure we have staff available to help you.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2093 for detailed information.

🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *These three 10 weeks old kittens were surrendered to the pound yesterday. While they are gorgeous long haired kittens, they’re not overly social so we have limited contact with two and no contact with the third - aside from the minor violence they inflicted upon us at intake. As the pound is still at full capacity, we aren’t able to fully socialize them prior to adoption, so we want potential families to be aware that they will not be cuddly off the bat, and you’ll have to continue working with them once they’re home. We have no additional information on them at this time, but will update as we get to know and socialize them. We would like to remind everyone that allowing your pet to roam is against the city bylaws and will result in fines as well as pound fees when they are picked up, both of which go up every time. The kindest thing you can do for your pet is to spay or neuter them as soon as they’re of age so if they happen to sneak out (which we are well aware does happen occasionally), they aren’t coming back with extra baggage or fathering an entire neighbourhood of kittens.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2090 for detailed information.

🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *After going unclaimed, this sweet boy is now looking for his forever home. He will stand up on his hind legs to get attention and loves to bird watch from the window. He’s looking for a family that will pet him almost constantly and maybe sneak him an extra meal or two because he’s simply a growing boy (he’s fully grown).* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2085 for detailed information.

Brandon City Pound: A lost pet has been found. *This 6 month old friend was caught in an ACO live trap earlier today. Her extra toes make her extra social, and she looks like she had a great time rolling around in some dirt prior to intake.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2071 for detailed information.

🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *After going unclaimed by his owner, newly named Boomer is now looking for his forever home! This handsome boy will require frequent grooming by his new family as fur this long is difficult for him to maintain on his own. We have no history on him or his vetting, but we believe he’s around 2 years old and intact.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2072 for detailed information.

🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *This is Moo and no, we did not name him that. He was surrendered with a sister he had no bond with, so she went to rescue when a placement opened up, and he stuck around as he doesn’t hate the shelter life. He seems to like the other cats, loves every person he’s encountered, and enjoys wandering around the cat room. Moo is 6 years old and neutered, but has never been vaccinated.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2058 for detailed information.

🆕New: Brandon City Pound: A lost pet is now available for adoption. *After going unclaimed for nearly a month, we’ve had to start searching for a new home for this friend. He’s handsome, extremely loving, and seems to like the other cats. We don’t have an age estimate, but feel he would do well in nearly any home.* Please refer to https://pound.brandon.ca/details.php?id=2054 for detailed information.
