4-H Manitoba Beef Clubs are in their Achievement season, with Show & Sale events happening at various locations across the province in the coming weeks. (Listed below)

These events offer a great opportunity for anyone looking to stock their freezer with high-quality, locally raised beef. Animals can be purchased individually or shared with friends and family—making it an easy and flexible way to support local agriculture while investing in quality beef for your home.

We encourage everyone to attend a local show and see the dedication these members have put into raising and caring for their market steers all year long. By purchasing, you are directly supporting 4-H Manitoba youth and the incredible work they’ve put into their animals.

These members truly embody the 4-H motto, “Learn To Do By Doing,” and their animals are a strong reflection of the skills, responsibility, and commitment they’ve developed throughout the year.

Many 4-H Manitoba Beef Clubs are wrapping up their year with Achievements, including Show & Sale events taking place at various locations across the province.

As part of these shows, market steers will be sold, offering a unique opportunity for those looking to stock their freezer with high-quality, locally raised beef. Purchases can be made individually or shared among friends and family—making it an accessible way to fill your freezer while supporting local agriculture.

We invite everyone to come out and attend these events to see firsthand the results of the hard work, dedication, and commitment these members have put into their projects throughout the year. By purchasing, you are directly supporting 4-H Manitoba members who have raised and cared for these animals as part of their 4-H projects. These youth have truly lived the 4-H motto of “Learn To Do By Doing,” and the exceptional quality of these animals is a reflection of their learning, growth, and effort all year long.

🍀 This Saturday, May 30th, 4-H clubs and members from across Manitoba will be taking part in our annual Highway Clean-Up!

Our members and volunteers will be out along roadways helping keep our communities clean and beautiful, and we ask motorists to please use extra caution when travelling through areas where clean-up activities are taking place.

Please slow down, stay alert, and give our volunteers plenty of space when passing. Your patience and care help keep everyone safe while our members give back to their communities. 💚

What a great first day of Agri-Career Quest 2026 yesterday! First stop was Hamiota Feedlot which was very educational and they were so welcoming. Then Nerbas Bros taught us about entrepreneurship and innovation with their E Butchery and tour of their amazing natural grass-fed herd.
We also made it to Skinners Arboretum to burn off some energy and pick up wood ticks (hahaha)...
Inglis Elevators were a great look into the past and then an AMAZING supper at .

☀️❄️ May Long Weekend in Manitoba… where one day you’re pulling out the lawn chairs and the next day you’re wondering if it’s too late to put the winter boots back on. 😅

As we head into the unofficial kick-off to Manitoba summer, please note that our office will be CLOSED on Monday, May 18th for the holiday weekend.

We hope you have a safe and relaxing May Long — whether you’re camping, BBQing, getting some chores done… or watching the weather forecast like a true Manitoban. 🌦️🍔🏕️

Here it is! Our updated office hours for this weekend.

We will be closing the office at noon on Friday to get ready for Provincial Rally - and then of course we will have the office closed on Monday so we can recover 😂.. seriously though, we will be closed Monday - and re-open Tuesday morning May 12th.
