If your child is struggling at school, show faith in them and focus on their strengths. Find ways to work with their challenges to help them have faith in themselves. Be patient with them and with yourself.

Help them remember what they need for school by creating checklists and posting reminders. Visual reminders may be more effective than verbal ones. Teach them to start making these lists and reminders for themselves.
