If you have a child with Autism (or anxiety in general), and are concerned about how they will adjust to a new school year… Consider contacting the school early to see if you can go in with your child to meet their new teacher, see their new classroom and perhaps even their seating arrangements. Familiarity of their new space may help ease the anxiety of the ‘new’ school year.
