Last Friday, we launched VOICES Committee: Survivor Advisory Network, a formal committee of survivors established within the Safe Centre of Peel.
Survivor voices are at the heart of what we do. Survivors bring lived experience, insight, and expertise that can help us better understand what people need, identify gaps in support, and create services that are more responsive, accessible, and grounded in the realities of those we serve.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this important milestone and to the survivors who are lending their voices, experiences, and leadership to this work. We’re excited for what we’ll build together.
