The Safe Centre of Peel was proud to be part of the Safer Together Conference in Ottawa this week.

Hannah White from the Safe Centre of Peel attended alongside Maresa Gervais, Manager with Peel Children’s Aid Society, who had the opportunity to speak about supporting survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) through an integrated service delivery model.

Hosted by the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa, the conference brought together 36 community partners for important conversations on IPV, including the experiences of Indigenous and newcomer women, the impact of IPV on children, and the intersection of IPV and family law.
