Chitwan Society Canada is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and destruction of property caused by the landslide and flooding in Rasuwagadhi, and other parts of Nepal.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families who have lost their loved ones, and we stand in solidarity with everyone affected by this devastating disaster. 🇳🇵

If you would like to support relief efforts, you are welcome to send your contributions to the PM relief, or support the GoFundMe campaign organized by NRNA Canada.

Every contribution, big or small, can make a difference in helping affected families during this difficult time.

🎉 CSC Congratulates NCCS on a Successful 18th Himalayan Mela 2026! 🇳🇵

Chitwan Society Canada - CSC would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Nepalese Canadian Community Services President Mr Sudarshan Sapkota and the entire NCCS team for the successful organization of the 18th Himalayan Mela 2026.

The Mela was a wonderful celebration of Nepali culture, heritage, music, and community spirit. We sincerely appreciate the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in making this event such a great success.

We are especially grateful to NCCS for providing Chitwan Society Canada the opportunity to proudly showcase our cultural presence through the Community Parade and cultural dance performance. It was an honor for CSC to be part of this beautiful celebration of our Nepali heritage.

Chitwan Society Canada - CSC warmly invites all members, volunteers and well wishers of CSC to join us in proudly representing our organization at the 18th Himalayan Mela 2026 Community Parade organized by Nepalese Canadian Community Services (NCCS) TODAY, August 8, at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto.

🕐 Please arrive by 1:00 PM
🚩 Community Parade begins at 1:30 PM

CSC will proudly participate with our official banner and 10 amazing cultural performers dressed in traditional attire, showcasing the rich heritage of Chitwan and Nepal.

Let's come together in our traditional dress or CSC Tshirt (if possible), carry our pride, and show the strength, unity, and spirit of the Chitwan diaspora. If you do not have a CSC T shirt, do not worry. We will provide you with CSC logo that you can stick to your dress.
