Mental health advocacy doesn't stop at the CFAC table!
In this video, Shak shares how his commitment to mental health advocacy extends beyond his role on CMHA Peel Dufferin's Client and Family Advisory Council (CFAC). Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, he brings both his lived experience and academic perspective to conversations about mental health, recovery, and system improvement.
Since joining CFAC, Shak has continued to deepen his involvement with CMHA Peel Dufferin and now serves as a member of our Board of Directors, helping ensure client and community voices are reflected at every level of the organization.
