🌍 As one of Canada’s most globally connected cities, Brampton continues to create partnerships and opportunities beyond borders.
ICYMI: the ’s team, in partnership with Ontario’s Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT), welcomed a delegation of government officials and business leaders from Cameroon as part of the 2nd Cameroon-Canada International Economic Forum.
The visit brought together municipal leaders, entrepreneurs and partners to explore opportunities for stronger collaboration between Canada and Cameroon while advancing connections that support business investment, trade and economic growth.
Attendees also heard valuable insights during the Building Global Brands from Brampton panel discussion, moderated by Erica Henry-Jackman, FDIP, CITP - FIBP, Ec.D and featuring:

The event featured keynote remarks from Omo Ogbamola, PhD, Founder & CEO of Tripplemos Food Processing Company, alongside a fireside chat with Denise Edwards, Founder of Tropix Coconut Drops, who shared her journey from local entrepreneur to export-ready business.
Together, the speakers highlighted the opportunities and challenges of building and scaling businesses, demonstrating how Brampton entrepreneurs are successfully growing their brands and expanding into new markets.
