Smart Commute Brampton-Caledon Our goal is to make commuting in the City of Brampton and Town of Caledon easier, healthier and more fun by providing a variety of sustainable travel modes.

Smart Commute is a program of Metrolinx (an agency of the Government of Ontario) with a goal to ease gridlock, improve air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, while making commuting less expensive and more enjoyable. These goals help support the objectives in Metrolinx’s regional transportation plan, The Big Move. To date, more than 250 employers with 600,000 employees have signed on to the program and are designated as Smart Commute workplaces. Smart Commute Brampton-Caledon encourages active and sustainable transportation by offering services and tools designed to make commuting easier for the employees of local organizations. We are a non-profit organization funded by key stakeholders from the area, along with other Smart Commutes around the GTHA in partnership with Metrolinx.
