From our humble beginnings in 1887, beginning with the Board’s first President Kenneth Chisholm, BBOT has consistently adapted and rebranded itself to effectively serve the needs of Brampton’s constantly evolving and dynamic business community. We have crafted a bold, proactive advocacy strategy that will give Brampton's business community a strong, unified voice in steering government priorities and policies towards prosperity and economic growth. We’re excited to introduce Fadeel Sheikh as our new Policy Research Coordinator at the Brampton Board of Trade! We’re thrilled to have him join the team for the summer of 2026 and look forward to all the great things ahead!

Fadeel Sheikh is a recent Masters of Public Policy student from the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. With a background in accounting and economics and being raised in Brampton he brings a wealth of local business understanding and a passion for his community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your presence helped create an engaging atmosphere filled with meaningful conversations, valuable networking opportunities, and new connections. This event not only celebrated the vibrant spirit of Brampton, but also the organizations and professionals whose contributions continue to strengthen our city.
