This 16-day workshop focuses on the most important attitudes, skills, and knowledge a professional office administrator should possess. Looking at what a typical day can look like topics include demonstrating clear, confident verbal, non-verbal and written communication together with critical skills such as listening, asking questions, and recognizing nonverbal messages in a professional setting. We will look at business etiquette issues around office interactions and examine the power of questions to better control calls. The workshop will help you learn how to create and manage the office and your day along with how to set clear goals and objectives for better planning and performance.

Last week, Karina Vozniuk, Get SET Program Manager, and I had the opportunity to attend the Peel Halton Workforce Development Group's Annual Breakfast Forum, From Theory to Practice: AI in Today's Workplace. The event brought together workforce development professionals, employers, and industry leaders for an engaging discussion on how artificial intelligence is being applied in real-world workplace settings.

The panel shared valuable insights on AI adoption, innovation, workforce readiness, and the opportunities and challenges organizations face as technology continues to evolve. Thank you to Peel Halton Workforce Development Group for hosting such a thought-provoking event and creating space for meaningful conversations about the future of work.
