Cancer Warrior Cancer warrior likes to create awareness about cancer, early diagnosis and treatment options and the Navneet’s deep faith gives her confidence about the future.

Cancer Warrior was born when a financial advisor and mom of two, Navneet Sharma from Milton represents a small proportion of those diagnosed with breast cancer – women under the age of 40. “For young women, breast cancer is very impactful on the whole family,” Navneet said. “The cancer fear is engrained in our society. When young women have cancer, it is very hard for the family.” Navneet’s cancer

was diagnosed in January 2017 and she is proudly bald as she undergoes rigours treatment options such as chemotherapy, surgeries and radiotherapy. Cancer Warrior is an initiative to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through the education of symptoms as well as treatments. We believe there is no better remedy than family, friends and the community which is why it is key to build yourself a wall of companions to stand by you through adversity. Navneet hopes to provide inspiration for those who come after her though this movement.

LCervical cancer is a type of cancer that starts in the cervix (the lower part of the uterus that connects to the va**na). It usually develops slowly and is most often caused by persistent infection with high-risk Human Papillomavirus (HPV).

Cause

Almost all cervical cancers are linked to HPV, a very common s*xually transmitted infection.

Most HPV infections clear on their own, but long-lasting infection with certain types (like HPV-16, 18) can lead to cancer.

Symptoms (often absent in early stages)

Abnormal va**nal bleeding (between periods, after s*x, or after menopause)

Unusual va**nal discharge

Pelvic pain or pain during in*******se
👉 Early cervical cancer often has no symptoms, which is why screening is critical.

Today, the Cancer Warrior flag was proudly raised at City of Brampton – Your Local Government a powerful symbol of strength, awareness, and solidarity for everyone affected by cancer. November 22nd is proclaimed as Cancer Awareness Day .

Community-led flag raisings give local groups the space to highlight meaningful causes, and today’s ceremony truly reflected the impact of that commitment by Cancer Warrior , for its tireless work for communities since 2017

The City of Brampton, together with Mayor Patrick Brown Patrick Brown, reaffirms Cancer Day by honouring survivors, supporting those currently fighting, and recognizing the dedicated volunteers and caregivers who make a difference every single day and the ongoing work . 💛
