Here are just a few of the ziploc bags dropped off at Empower Simcoe by Geoffrey Lock (right) from The Great Canadian Gift Box. Each bag is filled with items like essential toiletries, winter wear and hand-drawn greeting cards from area schoolchildren. Empower Simcoe Housing Access Worker Kylee Labrosse extends our heartfelt gratitude to Geoffrey and The Great Canadian Gift Box for this meaningful and valued gift this Christmas for people experiencing homelessness in our community.

We are so exited to announce that our final numbers are in….and we collected 700 ziploc bags for our 2022 Drive!!!!! Yesterday we were able to drop off at S H I F T in Alliston, Empower Simcoe in Barrie and The Lighthouse in Orillia! Thank you so much for everyone’s generosity!!

We are excited to announce that the YMCA of Innisfil has generously donated a three month family membership for our raffle prize!! They have fitness and aquatic locations in Innisfil, Collingwood, Midland, Wasaga Beach and Gravenhurst!! We are collecting donations until Friday December 16th!!
