Dear CLSM Community,

Community Living South Muskoka and OPSEU Local 305 are pleased to communicate that we have reached an agreement, ending the strike.

We all share a deep commitment to the well-being of the people we serve, their families, and the employees who deliver such essential care. CLSM and OPSEU Local 305 will ensure that all members of our community are well supported through the transition back to regular staffing, which will begin on Wednesday, October 7th.

We recognize that this has been a difficult time for all. We thank you for your patience, cooperation, and commitment to this community.

🚨IDOL FINALE UPDATE:
We are postponing our idol finale show on Wednesday May 27th at 7pm at the Renee Caisse Theatre to a future date that is yet to be determined.

We cannot wait to celebrate all the finalist with you at that time. We apologize for any disappointment, and will relay the new date as soon as we know. Thanks for bearing with us!

Shoutout to the superb duo from Therapeutic Paws of Canada, Zeke, and his human, Pam, who visit the library monthly on select Mondays. Zeke is a charming, super-soft-and snuggly Shih Tzu who connects with people by gazing deeply into their eyes. We are so happy to have Zeke as our drop-in therapy dog...oh, and Pam isn't so bad herself either!
