Hand knit with love by Heather Dinn for a few lucky SwimBowen enthusiasts. Knit with a deliciously soft combination of merino, alpaca and silk yarn, we have 4 scrumcious toques available via silent auction on event day, July 11th at Tunstall Bay. Yes that's right, only 4 toques!

Will you win a rejuvenating getaway at ? This incredible prize includes 2-night accommodation for two (and maybe a 🫏 visit!) in the coziest house-keeping cabin. Another one of the incredible prizes coming our awards ceremony after the annual SwimBowen event on July 11th in Tunstall Bay!

Take 6 six gals, squish them into wetsuits and toss them into Bowen Bay on a Sunday afternoon for a once around the bay "triangle" swim and guranteed they come out feeling as bright and refreshed as the blue sky above them.
Somehow swimming has a way of rinsing you from the inside out. Polishing away any rough edges, smoothing out any frayed thoughts. It is a beautiful little miracle with every single swim.
This particular swim was a little rough. Reaching through the rough water, climbing up and over a few waves such that you can't see anything for a moment or two and then taking in a few mouthfuls of Salish Sea is perhaps not the best part. I think everyone would prefer to swim in calm seas. However the feeling of accomplishment, and doing it together is so brilliantly rewarding.
Ocean swimming is so many things and we are ever so grateful for every single one of them.

Friends, this is SO EXCITING! Never before in the history of SwimBowen have we reached 20K in fundraising this far in advance of event day!!! You are all so incredible. THANK YOU! We are half way to our goal of raising $40,000 for the Cancer Care Fund that supports Bowen residents who are in cancer treatment and cancer-related palliative care. Will this be a record-breaking year?
