Gooday Lets Play

09/01/2026

Hello Gooday Lets Play Supporters!

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to all those who sponsored, donated to, and participated in our annual golf tournament held this past Sunday. The rain didn’t dampen your enthusiasm as we had another fun and successful day in support of local youth hockey!

Listed here are the results of the 2026 tournament, raffle, and auction.

Prizes and auction items may be picked up at Wardsville Golf Club. Please speak to the front desk; items are located in the banquet room (with your name on it).

Auction winners are asked to submit payment via e-transfer to [email protected], prior to picking up their item. If there are any questions, please contact Ron Horvat at the above email address.

Congratulations to all of the tournament winners! However, the true winners of the day will be our five partner minor hockey organizations:
Dresden Minor Hockey Association
East Lambton Minor Hockey Association
Southwest Bullets
South Kent Minor Hockey Association - SKMHA
West Lorne Comets

We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Have a Gooday! ⛳️🏌️🏌️‍♀️🙌

From local rinks to the world stage, Elgin County is cheering loud this year. Two athletes from our western communities are putting on their maple leaf jerseys and representing Team Canada in hockey.

These hometown athletes show what’s possible when talent, hard work, and community support come together. Whether it’s the Olympics or the Paralympics, we’re all on the same team.

Let’s fill the stands, the living rooms, and the comment sections with Elgin County pride. 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗮 🏒 𝗼𝗿 𝗮 🍁 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗱.
