Gooday Lets Play Gooday Lets Play is a non-profit that helps kids participate in local minor hockey.

GoodayLetsPlay is a non-profit organization that helps kids participate in organized minor hockey associations, the lifeblood of local hockey. Our support consists of funding for all or a portion of the registration fee for children that are first year registrants in the Initiation Program who desire to start playing the game of hockey. We will also help our local minor hockey associations which c

onsist of Dresden, Bothwell, Glencoe, West Lorne, Alvinston, Watford, Ridgetown and Blenheim respectively provide new and used equipment for those who are currently experiencing difficulty raising enough funds to fully participate in the game they love. It all starts with a child in need who has a desire to play hockey, with your support more children will be able to stay physically active, acquire life skills, create friendships and ever-lasting memories.

Congrats to our U11 Rep team as they are 2026 Tier 1 OMHA Champions! After losing game one to Frontenac, the Jr.Kings ran off consecutive wins over Highland, Huntsville and Napanee to set up an OMHA final rematch with the hometown Frontenac Flyers. With a 6-3 win on Sunday in Kingston your Jr.Kings earned the coveted Red Hats!

From local rinks to the world stage, Elgin County is cheering loud this year. Two athletes from our western communities are putting on their maple leaf jerseys and representing Team Canada in hockey.

Let’s go East Lambton Minor Hockey Association, Dresden Minor Hockey Association, Southwest Bullets, and you too, Lambton Shores!… we are all about hometown hockey!

The John Horvat Memorial U9 LL Tournament is underway in Bothwell!
This novice tournament has been running in the community for decades, and Gooday Lets Play is honoured to have it named after our patriarch, John, who was an early builder of Bothwell Minor Hockey.

Check out the popular Skills Competition at noon, or cheer on one of our local teams…Dresden Minor Hockey Association, South Kent Minor Hockey Association - SKMHA, East Lambton Minor Hockey Association, and host team Southwest Bullets, who won their games Friday and are excited to take on Lambton Shores at 10 am! 🏒🥅🏅
