🚴♀️🚴♂️ Bonfield & District Lions Club Bike Rodeos a Huge Success! 🚴♂️🚴♀️
The Bonfield & District Lions Club was proud to host three Bike Rodeos this spring for students at Ferris Glen Public School in Corbeil, École élémentaire catholique Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin in Astorville, and École élémentaire catholique Lorrain in Bonfield.
More than 400 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 participated in the events. The children were excited, enthusiastic, extremely well-behaved, and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship throughout the day. Most importantly, everyone had a lot of fun while learning valuable bicycle safety and riding skills.
Participants navigated 10 skill-testing stations designed to challenge and develop their cycling abilities. Scores from these stations were used to determine the top three riders in each of four categories:

🏅 Junior Girls
🏅 Junior Boys
Congratulations to all of the participants and especially to our category winners, who have earned the opportunity to advance to the Regional Bike Rodeo Competition on July 4 at 9am at the Bill Barber Complex in Callander.
The Bonfield & District Lions Club would like to thank the students, teachers, school staff, volunteers, and community partners who helped make these events such a tremendous success.
