Today, on Autism Awareness Day, we celebrate the strength, uniqueness, and potential of every individual on the autism spectrum. 💙🐴

At Spirit Riders, we believe in the quiet, powerful connection between horse and human. For children and adults living with autism, our horses offer more than just a ride—they offer understanding, patience, and a true sense of belonging.

Through therapeutic riding, individuals can build confidence, improve coordination, and develop communication skills in a calm, supportive environment. Every session is a step forward—filled with trust, growth, and connection.

Our horses don’t judge or rush—they simply meet each rider where they are. And in that space, incredible things happen.

At Spirit Riders, we’re building confidence, independence, and brighter futures—one stride at a time. ✨💙

Every Great Pyrenees owner starts with confidence.

“This yard is secure.”
“The fence is strong.”
“There’s no way they can get out.”

And your Pyrenees just stands there quietly… observing… calculating… planning.

Because while you’re thinking “pet dog”…
they’re thinking prison break.

One day you look outside and everything seems normal.
Dog is in the yard.
Fence is intact.
Life is peaceful.

Five minutes later…

The dog is gone.

No broken gate.
No obvious hole.
No explanation.

Just vanished.

And then you find them…

Standing outside the fence.
Looking proud.
Looking accomplished.
Looking like they just completed a top-secret mission.

Meanwhile you’re standing there like:
“How did you even DO that??”

Because a Great Pyrenees doesn’t escape in one way.

They have options.

Dig under it.
Climb over it.
Squeeze through it.
Or somehow just… appear on the other side like physics gave up.

And the best part?

When you bring them back inside the fence, they don’t feel guilty.
They don’t feel sorry.

They look at you like:
“That was a test. You failed.”

Living with a Great Pyrenees means accepting one undeniable truth:

You don’t have a fenced yard.

You have a temporary suggestion.
