Hi Blue River,

Quick reminder that there is a Fire Ban for all categories of fires in our area. That does mean no camp fires.

As always, please check the Prince George Fire Centre web page before having a fire on your property.

View all bans and restrictions for the Prince George Fire Centre, which includes the north of the Interior Plateau and the Omenica Mountains to the north, sections of the Rocky Mountain Trench and Peace Liard country to the east and part of the Cariboo range to the south.

Hi Blue River.

We have been getting a few questions. First off, there is a fire ban in effect for all fire types. Yes, that includes camp fires. Please see the link below.

Do note: we are part of the Prince George Fire Center, in the Robson Valley Fire Zone.

The fire you can see in the Red Rands valley has been noted and a crew has flown over it. At this point just a couple smoldering trees with snow underneath. They will monitor.
