This Sunday, June 28th - the annual UROC - United Riders of Crowsnest poker ride! 🚵‍♀️

This Sunday, June 28th. Join us for our annual UROC Poker ride. We will be set up at the lodge parking lot at 10am with the list of checkpoints for the self directed ride. With so many new trails on the mountain, we can offer some new options for this year’s ride.

There is no cost for the poker ride, but it is for UROC members only. If you haven’t registered for your membership this year, head over to uroc.ca and sign up today.

If you haven’t participated in a MTB poker ride before, the idea is that you and your group ride around the mountain to various trails and checkpoints and take pictures. We will have 5 checkpoints and a bonus trail for the keeners. There will be an adult course and youth course for younger riders. When you finish your ride and return back to the lodge, we will deal you a poker hand. The amount of cards you get, corresponds to how many checkpoints you make it to.
You can do as much or as little as you want.

We will have prizes for best hand, worst hand, etc.

Hope to see a bunch of you out for the ride on Sunday. We usually try to have the ride wrapped up by 2pm.

Billy made it to the ocean! 🌊

A little while ago, Billy told us he had a dream of seeing the ocean.

Yesterday, he left.

Not because of a big fundraiser or a fancy organization. Because a whole community quietly showed up, one bottle, one donation, one act of kindness at a time.

Over the last months, so many of you saved your bottles, dropped off donations, spread the word, and cheered Billy on. Every little bit added up to something really big.

Today, Billy is on his way to the ocean for the very first time.

We can't thank this community enough for helping make this happen. Watching a dream become reality is pretty special, and knowing so many people played a part in it makes it even better.

Have the best trip, Billy. We can't wait to hear all about it. 🌊
