First swim meet of the season was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Here are few notes from your coaches:
Our team really showed so much sportsmanship in Pincher Creek. We saw so many people congratulating their competitors after the races.

We had so many incredible best times, some were 10+ seconds off!!
We also obtained 3rd place for Net Points, almost squeezing in for 2nd place, which is incredible.

The officials had nothing but lovely things to say about our swimmers behaviour today and we really appreciate all the lovely volunteers who helped from our team too!

We had more volunteers than the minimum we needed to provide - which is what we want! SO THANK YOU! We had people timing, helping with marshalling, and working as a runner.

Our first meet of the season has arrived!

This weekend we’re headed to Pincher!

Thank you to everyone who has offered to help🙏 They are still looking for a few more marshalling and IT volunteers.

A few updates & reminders;
- The facility will open at 7am
- ⁠Swimmer Camp will be set up in the arena stands or outside, NOT the ice surface area due to our new basketball & pickleball flooring. This court area is off limits. Mats & blankets are recommended for inside instead of lawn chairs. Clubs will have designated areas.
- ⁠Please make sure your camp area stays tidy and that you have camp parents to supervise the swimmers from your team at all times.
- ⁠ALL officials need to attend the officials meeting at 7:45am in the library. If you have a later warm up you still need to be present at the officials meeting. Please don’t be late.
- ⁠Watch the varied warm schedule & be ready. We will run as tight to the schedule as we can.
- ⁠Encourage families to use the Meet Mobile app but also be aware service is limited in Pincher Creek our wifi will do the best it can with this many users.
- ⁠Subway is across the street, No Frills & What’s Popping is just one block west of the pool.
- ⁠There is a fun bucket draw that folks may want to bring cash for.

Piranhas,

Please check your bags for one of our team mates clothing that went missing at tonight’s practice between 6 and 7 pm.
Were missing:
- A pair of dark levi jean shorts (pic. 1)
- A purple tank top similar to the style in pic. 2 but with the design of pic. 3
During the hustle of in and out of the change room, these things can accidentally happen. We just ask for these items to be safely returned as soon as possible please.

We had a beauty morning out at the landfill and all I can say is WOW.

Swim club hasn’t even started yet and the way ya’ll have shown up this past month in support of the club has us feeling SO grateful.
