Camp is getting ready for summer and continues to make great progress thanks to another amazing day of volunteering from the team at !

From clearing out our kitchen to prepare for an exciting fridge renovation, to refreshing the front garden, organizing the craft hut, redesigning the sandbox, and helping bring our new camp sign to life, their hard work can already be seen all around camp.

Every project tackled today helps us get one step closer to the summer, and we can’t wait to share the finished sign soon… swipe for a sneak peek at the end 👀

We can’t thank enough for helping us keep camp afloat! Each year, this hard working team spends a weekend at camp fixing, replacing, painting, donating, and everything in between.

Their generosity and dedication help us create a better camp experience for everyone who walks through our gates. Thank you for all that you do for Camp Scugog! Your efforts are truly priceless 🏕️

Six of our summer staff spent their long weekend up in the trees, training to run High Ropes this summer. They worked hard, built trust, strengthened teamwork, and really learned the ropes!

Thank you to the Canadian Ropes Course Company for training us for two summers now!

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who remind us that you’re never too old to be a camper. ❤️

Behind every suitcase packed with care, and every sacrifice made to get here, there is a mom working tirelessly to give her family the world. Here at Camp Scugog, we love getting to see you give that world to yourself too.

We’ve watched you climb the high ropes, share your hearts to each other, and rediscover your own sense of wonder right alongside your children.

Being a mom is the hardest work there is. We are so honored to be a place where you can be supported, cheered on, and reminded that you don’t have to carry it all alone.

Spring Cleaning Day is always a reminder that Camp Scugog is cared for by a community.

Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to clean cabins and washrooms, move boats, clear brush in our Low Ropes area, and make camp feel ready for another season.

Camp doesn’t just happen. It’s built, cared for, and carried forward by the people who show up. Thank you to all of our volunteers, and a shout out to for bringing such a large, hard-working crew! See you next spring 🌱

On May 2nd, staff, alumni, and volunteers will work side by side to get camp ready for another summer rooted in community, stewardship, and play. It takes a community to care for Camp Scugog, and this place is shaped by the people who step in to help. Lunch included.

Our spring season kicked off with another visit from the Polish Academy of Canada! They took over the Leadership Centre this week, tackling new challenges and connecting through games and workshops like total pros. 🙌

This small but mighty group brought the fun as they paddled on the calm waters of Lake Scugog, pushed their limits completing all of the high ropes elements, working together through riddles, and ended both days around the campfire under the stars. ✨

These young leaders didn’t just come to play; they grew, bridging the gap between “student” and “leader”.

Thanks for the energy ! We’re so proud to be a part of your journey 🇨🇦🇵🇱

Some of our staff and Junior Counsellors teamed up for a weekend of wild challenges and a creative bake off! Watching everyone collaborate (and get a little competitive) was a great kick off to the spring season!
