Reminder that Our inspection is September 4th, 2026
We're getting so excited!!! 🎉

Judges from the Netherlands arriving this day on their Northern circuit to provide professional and official judging for the Barock Pinto Association of North America!

⚠️⚠️ **** IMPORTANT DEADLINE: Inspection registration deadline is August 3! **** ⚠️⚠️

*** MORE IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***

1. A current BPANA membership is needed for participants.

2. Individual horse registration PRIOR to inspection:
-There are step by step instructions for horse registration. See below.

- All stallions must be negative for Dwarfism, Hydrocephalus, and WFFS prior to inspection

3. Individual site registration:
Everyone will need to register for the Edmonton Alberta inspection. This does not happen with your membership.
- Fees are $0 - $180. Check out your category below.

4. Site share fee: TBA
Only looking to cover the cost of booking the beautiful WELCA facility. This will depend on how many participants we have/any extra sponsorship we can get.
Site fees will be paid to the Host. Hopefully we have lots of participants!!! 🎉

5. Daily stall fees: $52.50.
Includes hay, one bag of shavings, 10x10 stall. Water is available, but is not automatic and is responsibility of the owner. (Sorry this does not include the evening prior)

6. A on-site washing is available. Just outside the door of the facility in designated area.

7. On-site camping is available: per unit per night $20

8. Looking into having a food truck on site.

Type XX book!!

The Type XX auxiliary book is all about performance and genetic diversity.
It is the home for approved Sport horses and horses with low Friesian percentages (more than 62.5% foreign blood) that embody the athleticism we strive for.

Elite Performance: This book recognizes horses with less than 37.5% Friesian blood that bring exceptional movement, scope, and modern conformation to the registry.

Breeding Versatility: These horses are the key to refining the Barock Pinto for the highest levels of dressage, jumping, and sport.

The XX register focuses on the quality of the individual as an approved outcross for the studbook

Don't let the solid coat fool you!
The Type FB (Foundation/Other-Colored) book is a critical part of the Barock Pinto Association.
This register is dedicated to horses that carry the elite pedigree needed to produce the next generation of Barock Pintos, even if they aren't black and white themselves.

* Horses with less than 62.5% foreign blood, Friesian horses, including B Book KFPS Friesian horses, well be registered in this category. *

Pedigree Verified: These horses are fully DNA and pedigree verified for breeding.

Color Diversity: Includes solid black horses or other-colored pintos that carry the right bloodlines.

Future Stars: When bred correctly, FB horses are essential for producing top-tier BP offspring.

First off is the main BP book!!

When we talk about the Type BP book, we are talking about the heart of the registry! These horses represent the perfect harmony of Friesian elegance and athletic power.
To qualify for the Main Foalbook (BP), a horse must meet our most rigorous standards:

Heritage: A minimum of 37.5% Friesian blood.

Signature Look: The striking, high-contrast black and white tobiano pattern.

Quality: Evaluated for functional, harmonious conformation that excels in both sport and breeding.
