Nesslin Lake Forest Adovcates
A Little About the Advocates. The Nesslin Lake Forest is an 11,000 hectare area directly west of the Prince Albert National Park in Saskatchewan, Canada. It is presently licenced to a forestry company from B.C. who have plans to mechanically log a large portion of the area in the next two years (much has already been logged), despite many concerns being raised by the local community and many who travel to that area.
The Advocates are passionate about the possibilities. We are passionate about this small corner of the amazing boreal forest. For many of us, we have grown up in this area, it is home to us. For others, we have been coming here for years, it is a place of wonder and solace for us.
We are Indigenous, Metis, and Settlers. We want our children and grandchildren to experience what we have - the beauty and bounty of the boreal forest.
