🍂An Update on Our Fall Banquet🍂

Due to the recent fire, our Fall Fundraiser Banquet scheduled for November 7, 2026, is being postponed.

This event is a special time to celebrate God’s goodness and the community that makes our ministry possible. Right now, we’re giving our team the time and space needed to respond to the impact of the fire.

We’re not cancelling, just postponing! We’ll share a new date and other details as soon as we can.

Thank you for your continued prayers, generosity, and support. We’re so grateful to have you walking alongside us. ❤️

🍂🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from Camp Silversides! 🦃🍂

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18

This Thanksgiving, we’re giving thanks to God for the many blessings He has given us — especially the campers, staff, families, and friends who make Camp Silversides such a special place. We’re so grateful for each of you!❤️

May your Thanksgiving be filled with God’s goodness, joyful fellowship, delicious food, and countless reasons to give thanks.

Renovations are underway at Camp Silversides! 🔨 All the equipment in the kitchen and dish pit has been stripped out as we continue rebuilding after last month’s fire.

🙏 Prayer requests:
- For a positive, understanding relationship with our insurance adjuster and clear communication throughout the process.
- For relief from the stress and uncertainty that come with rebuilding, and peace for everyone involved.
- For continued trust in God’s provision, timing, and guidance as we navigate each step forward. 💙

❤️ A Special Thank You from Camp Silversides

Through the fire and its aftermath, God has faithfully reminded us that we are never alone. He has worked through the kindness, generosity, prayers, and helping hands of so many people who stepped up to support Camp Silversides.

To those recognized in this post, thank you for being part of God’s provision for our camp. Your support has been a beautiful reminder of His faithfulness and the strength of our community.

🔥Camp Silversides Update pt. 2! 🔥

After last week’s fire, our kitchen and dishwasher are temporarily out of commission — but that’s not stopping camp life! 💪🌲

Meet Paintbrush, giving us a tour of our outdoor kitchen! 🏕️🍳 We’ve set it up so we can still host our rental groups for the fall, and so they can still gather and enjoy their time at camp while we work through the next steps.

A huge THANK YOU to the Gull Lake Center and everyone behind-the-scenes for generously donating equipment to help make this outdoor kitchen possible. Your support means so much to us! 💛

Camp may look a little different right now, but God is still good, and He continues to provide! 🔥🌲
