✨ STAFF SATURDAY pt. 2.5 ✨

No staff introductions this week, but in the meantime, enjoy a glimpse of your 2026 summer staff in their natural habitat.

A couple of weeks ago, Camp Silversides' staff training wrapped up after a weekend of equipping, reconnecting, welcoming new faces, and serving God and the community!

From icebreakers that somehow turned into full-on competitions to late-night conversations that definitely lasted longer than planned, the weekend felt like a preview of the summer ahead—slightly unhinged, wildly energetic, and exactly the kind of organized chaos that makes camp what it is.

If this was just training, summer is going to be something else entirely.

This week, we held our first ever annual Silverliners 55+ Retreat!⛺🤝

We got to host such a wonderful group of people the past couple of days, and it was amazing to hear the laughter and all the God-stories shared. A special thank you to our guest speaker, Eddie Maguire (a.k.a Oops), for sharing wisdom, encouragement, and inspiration throughout the weekend. We're so grateful for everyone who joined us and helped make this retreat such a blessing.📖🙌

As we prepare for our camp season this summer, it was so cool to see God’s work through generations and generations.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Camp Silversides’ Walk, Run, and Roll fundraiser! 👟🚴‍♀️💪

Your energy, generosity, and support mean so much to us, and thanks to you, we raised nearly $14,000 towards our 2026 Camper Scholarship Fund! Whether you participated, donated, volunteered, or cheered us on, you helped make the day such a success 💙 We’re so grateful for this amazing community and the funds that help send more kids to camp!

We’re warming up for the Walk Run & Roll Fundraiser — now it’s your turn to join us! This fundraiser helps raise money for our 2026 Camper Scholarship Fund, so that we can send more kids to camp — regardless of finances. Register today and come spend the day walking, running, or rolling alongside our community. Plus, stay after for the Open House, supper, and chapel!
