Quinte Branch was chartered as the 18th branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society (OGS) covering the Bay of Quinte area that includes Hastings and Prince Edward Counties and surrounding areas in Ontario, Canada. Our nearly 300 members include those who have roots in the Bay of Quinte area and those who live locally with roots elsewhere.

Quinte Branch holds presentations on the 3rd Sat

urdays of the month except July, August and December with guest speakers who will share their knowledge. Currently, our public meetings are virtual, via Zoom. Efforts are being made to hold hybrid meetings. Meeting details are available on the FaceBook page. Visitors are always welcome--come and bring a friend.

I missed posting a note to remember to back up your data. I was rebuilding (from scratch) a tablet on the first. I did not lose any data, as I don't store data on it.
I did lose settings and local data, but it seems that was where the problem resides, as it is no longer loosing its mind occasionally.

Not fully sure but it seems something in my backed up google profile has been corrupted. If i reloaded it, I got everything back - even the bug.

SO remember to backup your data, you can never be sure what might happen.

During July and August we will be open as noted
AND on Saturday from 10AM to 2PM.
