For those navigating grief, these sessions can offer a gentle opportunity to process thoughts and emotions, find meaning, feel less alone, and support your own journey through healing.

"It's creative and it doesn't have to be journaling, we have folks in the group who write poems, lists, doodling. It comes with no obligation to share. It's really just to generate thoughts and hopefully help people work through feelings they haven't considered."

A big thank you to the Kenron Estate Line Dancers for their generous support of Hospice Quinte.

A heartfelt thank you to the Davidson family for sponsoring a Day of Care at Hospice Quinte in memory of Reta Davidson.

A Day of Care is a meaningful way to honour someone who has died while helping provide free compassionate care and support to local families.

The cost to provide this extraordinary level of care is approximately $1,500 per day. So, gifts like this help make it possible for Hospice Quinte to comfort and care for residents and their families.

Today we remember Reta, and are grateful to the Davidson family for choosing to honour her memory in such a meaningful way.

We are so grateful for this generous donation of worry worms for our Children’s Grief Group. 💙 These thoughtful little creations will provide comfort and support to children as they navigate their grief.

Hospice Quinte is providing a safe and supportive space for young people in our community to express their grief through activity-based programming, connect with peers who have experienced similar loss, and develop healthy coping strategies.
