As the school year wraps up, we’re proud to thank Scotiabanknk for their incredible support.

Thanks in part to ScotiaRISE, we delivered 4,702 learning experiences in 32 schools, helping us reach under-served and underrepresented youth across our communities. This includes young people facing barriers related to income, rural location, Indigenous identity, and newcomer status.

We’re grateful for this partnership and the impact it continues to make in the lives of youth.

Youth are at the heart of why Junior Achievement exists.

Whether we’re delivering complementary curriculum in partnership with educators or creating meaningful internship opportunities, we’re committed to supporting young people across Nova Scotia as they build skills, confidence, and connections for the future.

We’re proud to celebrate Zafir, a student from Citadel High School, who has just completed his internship with us. We wish him all the best this summer and in all that comes next!

Internships are a valuable extension of classroom learning. They give students the chance to apply what they’ve learned in real-world settings, gain firsthand experience in professional environments, and strengthen the skills that help prepare them for future employment.

Each year we award one of our Company Program groups "Company Of The Year". The students in this company had the best attendance, highest sales, received 100% marks during their awards interview from our volunteer judges, which looks at exemplary leadership and solid financial management. There's more but you get the point.

We were so excited to have Jaime Landry from Black Harbour Distillers Inc join us to share her wisdom. It turned out to be an incredibly dynamic evening with the youth asking the most amazing questions. The conversation flowed until at least 8:30pm!

And let's not forget to share that the service and attention from the team at Sketti and Ball was amazing!

Congratulations to The Cutting Edge from Halifax Grammar School.
