Eastern Regional Convention 2026 🌊❤️

What an incredible weekend representing Progress Club NOVA at the beautiful Digby Pines Resort for the Eastern Regional Convention!

Each year, Progress Club members from across the Atlantic provinces come together to celebrate the successes of our clubs, share ideas, recognize achievements, strengthen friendships, and, of course, have a little fun along the way.

With more than 60 members in attendance, the weekend was filled with inspiring conversations, laughter, learning, and plenty of memories made. It was wonderful to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new friends, and be reminded of the impact Progress Clubs are making in communities throughout Atlantic Canada.

We are so proud of everything our club has accomplished this year and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate alongside so many passionate volunteers who share the same commitment to service, friendship, and giving back.

A special thank you to our sister club, Progress Club Halifax Citadel, for hosting such a fantastic convention. Your hard work, hospitality, and attention to detail made for a memorable weekend enjoyed by all.

We returned home inspired, energized, and excited for another year of making a difference.

As we gathered for our Annual General Meeting, we took time to reflect on what has been an incredible year for Progress Club NOVA. 💙

Together, we have volunteered, fundraised, advocated, supported local organizations, and strengthened our commitment to serving seniors and our community. Through every event, project, and initiative, our members have continued to show what can be accomplished when women come together with a shared purpose.

While we are proud of the impact we’ve made in our community, we’re equally proud of the friendships and sisterhood we’ve built along the way. The laughter shared, the support offered, the memories made, and the connections formed are what make our club so special.

Every member has played a part in our success this year, and we are grateful for the time, energy, compassion, and dedication that each person brings to our organization.

As we celebrate another successful year, we also look forward to welcoming new faces. If you’ve ever thought about getting involved in your community, making meaningful connections, and having fun while making a difference, we’d love to meet you. New members are always welcome!

💙 Progression of the Year Award 💙

At our AGM, we were proud to present the Progression of the Year Award to Kayla Kearney.

This award recognizes a member who has shown exceptional growth, dedication, and leadership within our club, and Kayla’s contributions this year have been nothing short of remarkable.

Kayla serves on our Awards Committee, Membership Committee, and Fundraising Committee, while also taking on the role of Social Chair, planning the fun and meaningful social events that help strengthen the bonds of sisterhood within our club.

Beyond her committee work, Kayla has been the driving force behind our club’s social media presence since the day Progress Club NOVA was chartered, helping share our story, celebrate our members, promote our events, and highlight the impact we make in our community.

Kayla is also our honorary bingo caller at White Hills, where she regularly volunteers her time alongside her family, bringing smiles and laughter to residents and demonstrating the spirit of service that Progress Club is built upon.

Her willingness to step up, take on new challenges, support fellow members, and champion our club’s mission has made a lasting impact on Progress Club NOVA.
