Tim Houston doesn’t know? I’m pretty sure over the past year that we have been bargaining and fighting for a fair wage the union has told the Government multiple times what we want.
3 asks is untrue, there were 4 which was a 4 year contract and a $ amount raise for year 3 and 4 the continuously dug their heels in and said NO. When someone from the Nova Scotia Government tells you there were 3 asks they are flat out lying.

The Nova Scotia Teachers Union stands with our CUPE 5047 school support staff in their fight for a fair contract.

They deserve a fair deal that recognizes the incredible work they do in schools every day to suport our students.

Our schools only work because they do.

And right now without them our schools, teachers and kids are suffering and missing out on critical supports.

The Nova Scotia Government should offer a fair deal now that gets these folks back to work in our schools where they belong.
