Shelf & Coffee Table Styling Masterclass with JDD Design

Join Jillian Douglas and the team from JDD Design for an evening masterclass on the art of shelf and coffee table styling. Learn the designer techniques behind creating beautifully balanced, layered, and lived-in spaces using objects you already own, along with a few thoughtfully chosen pieces.

During this hands-on style session, Jillian will walk through practical tips for arranging books, decor, and personal items to create shelves and coffee tables that feel both polished and personal. Whether you’re refreshing a room or starting from scratch, you’ll leave with simple design principles you can immediately apply at home.

🍪🧑‍🍳 Parent + Tot Cooking Class 🧑‍🍳🍓

Looking for a fun Victoria Day activity with your little one? Join us for a special hands-on baking class designed for parents + kids to create, connect, and get a little messy together ✨

Together, we’ll make:
🍪 Homemade animal crackers
🍓 Colorful fruit kebabs

Little hands will love rolling dough, using cookie cutters, and watching their treats come to life. We’ll also share simple ways to make baking healthier for kids using real, nourishing ingredients without sacrificing flavour or fun.

This class is all about connection, creativity, sensory play, and quality time together 💛

✨ Each child will take home their own animal crackers (plus enjoy some fresh from the oven in class!)

Recipe is egg-free + nut/peanut-free. Contains gluten, butter, and dairy.

Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with a beautiful spring photoshoot! The North Toronto Moms Group is excited to host a special mini session event with photographer James Joo—designed for busy moms and families who want to step in front of the camera and capture meaningful moments together.

Dates: Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th, 2026

Session Times:

Saturday May 9th: 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM (one 10-minute session per family)
Sunday May 10th: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM (one 10-minute session per family)
Registration: Registration will open on Monday, April 20th at 9:00PM. Registration link will be sent by email.

Cost: $60; no refunds

Location: Member's backyard (near Bayview and Lawrence).

Parking Info: Street parking is not available. Please use a nearby Green P lot.

Option to purchase additional images or full gallery separately
Price: $60 per session

Each session will be approximately 10 minutes. You’ll be able to select 4 professionally edited images, with the option to purchase additional photos individually or as a full gallery.
Spots are limited, and registration is exclusively open to current NT Moms members.
The photoshoot will proceed regardless of the weather.
A detailed email with instructions and location will be shared with final attendees closer to the date.
Unfortunately there will be no refunds, time swaps or accommodations for late/missed timeslots.

Enjoy a relaxed evening with drinks, light snacks, and lots of laughs while the talented team at Calia Hair walks you through simple styling tips and techniques. You will pair up with another NT Mom to practice these new skills, so please be nice to your hair partner and come to the salon with clean(-ish) hair! 🥂 💇🏼‍♀️
