Thank you to everyone who submitted a name for our adorable Shorthorn heifer calf! We received 134 unique "P" names and were blown away by your creativity.
After much deliberation, Cedar Back Farms has chosen Phoebe!

Congratulations to Sara Radlmair, who has won a FREE Beaverton Fall Fair Pass as the first person to suggest Phoebe! 🏆🐮

UPDATE: There are 134 unique names on the list after removing duplicates (on May 18). What a creative group you all are, keep em coming!

Ever wanted to name a calf? Now’s your chance! 🐮

We’ve teamed up with Cedar Back Farms for a fun new contest! Comment your calf name suggestion on the original post for a chance to name this adorable Shorthorn heifer calf.

⭐ Rule: Her name must start with the letter “P” since 2026 is the “Year of the P” for cattle names.

📅 Contest closes May 31 at noon.

If your name is chosen by the calf’s owners, you’ll WIN a free Beaverton Fall Fair Pass!

This sweet calf and her mom, Karmel, will also be at this year’s fair, come meet them at our NEW Cow Patty Bingo game!

While we were unfortunately unable to secure a midway for this year’s fair, our excitement to welcome everyone remains as strong as ever! We are hard at work planning a weekend full of activities, exhibits, vendors, entertainment, and plenty of family fun.

Some of the events and attractions currently being planned include:
🚗 Demolition Derby and Demo Cross
🐐 NEW this year - Petting Zoo & Pony Rides
🚗 Classic Car Show & Power Wheels Drag Race
🐎 Horse Show
🐄 Beef Show
🐑 NEW this year - Sheep Show
🎤 Live Entertainment on the Community Stage

⭐ More details coming soon as bookings are confirmed.

While this year’s fair may look a little different, we can’t wait to come together and celebrate everything that makes the Beaverton Fall Fair such a special tradition in our community.

The Beaverton Agricultural Society is holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, January 12 at 7:30pm at the Beaverton Town Hall. Looking to volunteer in the community? Anyone is welcome to attend and we need people to join us and help plan the 2026 fair. Contact [email protected] if you are interested in getting involved or come out to the meeting on January 12.
