⚠️ **Scam alert for the BMHA community**

We are aware of emails and messages from scammers pretending to be BMHA Executive members and asking people to buy gift cards, including for supposed coach appreciation gifts.

**These requests are fraudulent. BMHA will never ask you to buy gift cards, send gift card numbers or photos, or personally advance money for the association through an unsolicited email or text.** A familiar name on a message does not mean it came from that person.

Please do not reply, click links, or make a purchase. If you’re unsure about a request, contact the person or BMHA using contact information you already know, rather than the details in the message.

These messages come from outside BMHA, and we cannot prevent scammers from impersonating people. If you receive one, please let us know so we can track what is circulating. If you’ve already purchased a gift card or shared its details, contact the retailer and your bank or card provider immediately.
