Immediately stop using the recalled product and return it to Addison Électronique for a refund. Consumers should replace the recalled product with one that bears a Canadian certification mark.

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has determined that the product may not meet the Residential Detectors Regulations in Canada. The product does not have a Canadian certification mark and it is unknown if the alarm operates in the presence of smoke, posing a potential fire hazard.
