⭐️Our Kids Fun Food Literacy Club is back! Children ages 4-9 are invited to register for this FREE program offered in partnership with Whitewater Region Public Library, Cobden Branch, and Caressant Care Retirement Home. There will be stories, snacks, crafts, and games all aimed at teaching your kids about nutrition, healthy eating habits, and where our food comes from.
⭐️There will be 2 sessions: July 15th and August 19th from 1:00-3:30 pm. Children can register for one or both sessions. Spaces are limited. To register or inquire email [email protected] or call 613-646-0420 x 4245. Registration deadline is Friday, July 3rd.

🥕🍓That's a wrap folks! Our Good Food Box team would like to thank everyone for supporting the initiative over the 2025-2026 program year. Good Food Box is pausing for July, August, and September to support the use of our amazing local Farmers Markets and Stands. We hope everyone has an amazing summer🌞🍉

It's also a reminder that the work isn't finished, and that every person deserves to feel safe, valued, and accepted for who they are. 🌈

The ConnectWell-Renfrew County Child Wellness Hub is for children 0-5 without a family doctor or Nurse Practitioner including those without OHIP coverage. The goal is to ensure all children get the care they need for a healthy start in life.
At the Hub, families can get:

- Check-ups to track growth and development
- Vaccinations to protect against illness
- Screenings to check physical and mental development
- Mental health support for children and caregivers
- Health education

The Hub also connects families with other local programs to support their child’s development.
If a child is sick, the Hub’s rapid access clinic can help with:

- Ear infections
- Coughs and colds
- Vomiting
- Rashes

This program is a partnership between ConnectWell, the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, and the Renfrew County Youth Wellness Hub
