CUPE 1480

CUPE 1480 Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 1480. Servicing approximately 1200 members across the Limestone District School Board. CUPE Local 1480 has two units.

A Caretaking, Maintenance and Driver Unit and An Office, Clerical, Secretarial, Technical, Early Childhood Educator & Educational Assistant Unit.

A huge shoutout to the members at GREC, Clarendon, and Truedell! 💜

These schools are leading the way with strong participation in our Paint the Province Purple campaign, showing what solidarity and collective action look like in our communities.

Their commitment is a reminder that when members get involved, our voices become stronger and harder to ignore.

Now it’s time for the rest of us to join in!

This campaign is about all of us our working conditions, our students, our schools, and our future. Every lawn sign displayed, every conversation started, and every member who participates helps build momentum and demonstrates our unity.
