Chabad Jewish Centre of Barrie is an organization inspired by the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Motivated by his profound love for every Jew and spurred by his boundless optimism and self-sacrifice, the Rebbe set into motion a dazzling array of programs, services and institutions to serve every Jew. The Centre aims to provide the education and means to promote Jewish awareness, knowledge and practice through outreach, education and social services ensuring Jewish continuity.

With great sadness we inform you of the passing of our dear community member and friend Akiva Azerad.
The funeral will be held G-d willing in Kiryat Shmoneh, Israel.
May his soul rest in peace and may we merit to be reunited with the coming of Moshiach now!
We offer condolences to his wife Tamara and children Yitzchak and Rachel.
