Deaf Access and the The City of Barrie are thrilled to invite you to join us on Tuesday September 23, 2025, to help us celebrate International Day of Sign Language publicly for the very first time by raising our Deaf Flag at Barrie City Hall.

🕒 Time: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
📍 Location: City of Barrie, City Hall, 70 Collier Street, Barrie, Ontario.

Various paid parking is available around Barrie City Hall and it is easily accessible by public transportation.

By coming together on this significant day we aim to promote awareness, inclusion, and appreciation of sign languages and Deaf culture. Come down to learn about and help us showcase, community organizations and artists whose work supports accessibility, culture, education, wellness, and community building in our region!
