Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to be impacted. As we reflect on the truths of Canada's history and the ongoing journey toward reconciliation, we encourage our community to take part in events and activities such as those organized by, our Orillia Common Roof member organization, the Orillia Native Women's Group. These gatherings provide meaningful opportunities to come together in remembrance, learning, healing, and community connection.
