Starship Tigershark - Canada's Premier Star Trek Club

The USS Tigershark Fan Club was created by myself, Chris Alary and Josh Reashore back in 1997 in Barrie, Ontario as a small town Star Trek club for young fans. The ship was originally called the USS Agamemnon, but we changed the name less then two years later to something that would be more unique. The year 2001 saw the Tigershark move down to the Greater Toronto Area, with meetings less often and

more conference calls and email. 2001 was also the year that the Tigershark had it's own website created. 2002 saw the creation of what is now the Joint Task Force Five, a friendship fleet put together by myself and another club to bring like minded Star Trek fans together. By 2006, the ship's complement had grown even more, but people had less and less time to meet due to life and commitments. The club was put on hold until 2008 when it became a correspondence club, save a few members. The club and fleet were revamped, as was the website in 2011, and now here we are, boldly going where no club has gone before, getting through some rough times to come out stronger than it ever has been. The USS Tigershark is an independent club, and will always stay that way.
