Funeral and Celebration of Life: Jay Lethbridge

With gratitude for a life deeply loved, the family of James (Jay) Lethbridge invites family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, and community to join us in remembering and celebrating his life.
Jay died on December 22, 2025, just three days before Christmas. In the months since, we have held his memory close and now welcome the opportunity to gather together, give thanks, and honour the life he lived among us.
A Funeral Eucharist will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 5 Noraline Ave., Midhurst.
Following the service, all are welcome to gather for food and fellowship beginning at 12:00 noon at Huronia Centennial Elementary School, 28 Simcoe Street, Elmvale.
At approximately 1:00 p.m., we will share a time of remembrance and celebration, with stories, reflections, and gratitude for a life well lived. This gathering is intended as a gentle, welcoming space for remembering, sharing, and connecting.
Following the formal time of remembrance, friends and family are warmly invited to continue visiting, sharing refreshments, and spending time together until 3:30 p.m.
Some may wish to attend the funeral service, others the later gathering, and some both. All are welcome to join us in whatever way feels right for them on the day.
If you knew Jay—as a family member, friend, neighbour, colleague, or companion along life’s journey—we would be honoured by your presence as we celebrate his life and the love that continues.
