Update on the Bruce Readman Memorial Golf Tournament:

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We hope this message finds you well. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported the Bruce Readman Memorial Golf Tournament over the past nine years. Your participation, generosity, and dedication have helped us honour Bruce’s memory in a truly meaningful way, and the impact we've made together is something we’ll always be proud of.

After much thought and consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision not to hold the tournament this year. This decision was not made lightly, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support. While the event will be taking a pause in 2025, we want to leave the door open for its return in the future. The legacy of the tournament and the spirit of community it fosters remain very much alive.

In the meantime, we’d like to encourage those who are interested to consider supporting the Constable Greg Pierzchala Golf Tournament, which will be held on August 14, 2025. This event honours another life of service and sacrifice, and we believe it reflects the same values and sense of purpose that have always been at the heart of our tournament.

Thank you again for your ongoing support, friendship, and compassion. We look forward to the possibility of coming together again in the future to celebrate Bruce’s legacy.

Hello BR Bruce Readman Memorial Golf supporters!

As you may recall, all the proceeds of this year's tournament went to Glowing Hearts Charity.

⛳ They're hosting a tournament this month and need more golfers. It's on Wednesday, September 25th at 9am at National Pines Golf Club in Innisfil (a ClubLink course).

Our golf tournament is one month today! June 8th

Register and pay by midnight on✨Saturday May 18th✨ and your name will be entered into a special draw for a Petro Canada gift card!

Here's how you register:
Email your name (or the names of your foursome) to [email protected]. 💵 Then e-transfer your tournament fee of $100 per person to the same email address.

If you don't have a foursome or anyone to play with, no worries. We'll pair you with others.

The golf tournament takes many months to plan so we're already turning our minds to next year.

So far we've secured the date and location of the tournament:

⛳ Saturday June 8th, 2024 at the Borden Golf Club.

We're looking for help with selecting next year's charity recipient. Our tournament has supported MADD Canada, the food bank, Canadian Mental Health, brain aneurysm foundation, hospice, Wounded Warriors, so now we're looking to give back to a children's charity. Sick Kids is a huge charity and it came to mind, but we'd like to support a smaller, less well-known charity. ✨ If you know of a children's charity that you'd like the tournament to consider, please comment below. We appreciate your help!
