Autistic/neurodivergent and ready for a change?
Come to Autario's Kickoff Picnic by SADC on Centennial Beach, April 12th, 2026, at 11am to 1pm.
Here we'll have free pizza and other safefoods for you, friends to meet, and new ideas on what it's like to be not just Neurodiverse, but Neurocultural.
You will find information and registration processes available for a myriad of game-changing and life-changing projects for you to consider, while making new friends along the way, as well as clubs designed by Autarian autistics that are fun, engaging, and bring you out into the world, as a community, with the community.
We Autarians believe the only way we'll solve the Autistic questions under debate in our society, is to band together and sort out not just our problems, but those of our friends and neighbours as well. When we do that, people outside the Autistic community will see what we're really like, and that we're worthy of inclusion.
Come to Centennial Park, and be part of something bigger. In the Month of April, it's not just Autism Awareness or even Acceptance Month anymore. In Simcoe County, it's Autarian Spring! Not just a DSM DX anymore, but a cultural identity. It's in our flag, it's in our ethos, it's in the way we love. Empowerment through grassroots community, culture and identity and love. Acceptance through Action, Service and Community
See you there!

Warmer weather means it’s the perfect time to clear snow from nearby fire hydrants. Winter isn’t over, and keeping hydrants visible and accessible helps our crews respond faster when every second counts.

Winter Driving Reminder Before you hit the road:

✅ Clear ALL snow from your vehicle, including the roof! Snow left behind can slide down and block your view or fly off and endanger others.
✅Turn on your full headlights. Daytime running lights don’t always activate your tail lights so make sure you’re visible from every angle!

Stay safe. Drive smart.

We envision a future where transportation and employment opportunities are accessible to all, and we're thrilled to embark on an innovative project that will empower disabled youth, particularly those on the autism spectrum or who are neurodivergent.

In essence, we aim to establish a bus transportation company that will not only host community events but also create job opportunities for disabled adults, fostering a culture of inclusivity and independence. We're currently seeking to raise $100,000 to cover start-up costs, and we invite you to join us on this journey by donating or spreading the word – your support would be invaluable.

Our journey begins in Barrie/Simcoe County, but we aspire to expand our reach to other parts of Ontario in the future.

We’re launching a bus service for autistic and neurodiverse individuals in Ontario—providing safe rides and inclusive jobs. Help us raise funds to buy our first vehicle. Every donation drives inclusion forward. 🚐💙
