Barrie Good Food Box recognizes and thanks Sky, who is a vital part of our pack day team. Each month Sky volunteers her time and energy from 9am to 6pm doing a variety of tasks; unloading the truck; packing and arranging bags; facilitating deliveries; disassembling and cleaning; and greeting customers with kindness and enthusiasm. She carts hundreds of orders to load into customer's vehicles while maintaining a positive attitude and team work approach. Her presence at pack day lifts everyone's spirits and we love her willingness to help and guide anyone.

"I learned about The Barrie Good Food Box through my participation in the Empower Simcoe Job Readiness program. I enjoy helping others, so I kept on volunteering. It’s a mixture of unloading the truck, packing the bags, and customer service. I also volunteer at Furry Friends cat rescue. I am a Beaver Leader, and I coach Special Olympics Floor Hockey.”
