Every life matters. Every story matters. Overdose is preventable. Through compassion, awareness and action, we can challenge stigma and help save lives.

Our Celebrate Busby BBQ was a wonderful celebration of 33 years of the Busby Centre serving our community.

A special thank you to our presenting sponsor, Coke Canada, and to Hind Quarter Meat Co., Fox’s Bakery and Deli, The Peggy Hill Team, Zehrs, King Sam, the Barrie and South Simcoe Lions Club, RBM Carriers, Rock 95, Barrie 360 and 107.5 Kool FM.

To our staff, volunteers and everyone who joined us at Meridian Place, thank you for making the afternoon so meaningful.

This Lucy's Place resident puts his passion for gardening to work for himself and his neighbours! Residents are harvesting carrots and beans, and with the support of his Busby Centre case manager, he plans to make a carrot cake for his birthday this week. 🥕🎂

It’s the kind of everyday things that make a place feel like home: growing something, sharing it with neighbours, and having a birthday cake to look forward to.

Together, these incredible hairstylists provided 20 haircuts to individuals accessing Busby Centre services.
