Totally Free Ministries "Remember That God Has A Purpose And A Plan For Your Life" Hello everyone, my name is John Smith I first of all want to say welcome to our page. Rev.

The main goal of Totally Free Ministries is to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and let teens and adults know about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse and warn them of the severe consequences and the dangers of addictions. I want to give glory and honour to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lord's. On a Sunday night September 26, 1993 Jesus gave me my life back I was 2 hours a

way from taking my life because of a drug & Alcohol addiction that had me bound. After years of abuse, hurting multitudes of people, God said Son I have a purpose and a plan for your life. And that night He miraculously in a Supernatural way set me free. And a short time later I felt the call to go tell others that there is hope and that God has a purpose and a plan for their life. My friend the same Jesus that set me free over 25 years ago wants to do the same for you right now if you will only open up your heart to receive Him. The bible says "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). The main reason this site was started was because several people asked me if a group be could be created so that their friends and family could see what Jesus has done and pray that it would give them hope in their lives. This group is devoted to God and devoted to you who have joined! As each of our lives get so hectic and busy, I hope this group also will also help you stay connected to God's Word. Each Day a different devotion or thought will be posted on the main page and on every Sunday morning a weekly thought will be sent out to everyone. Please feel free to leave a response and let us know if you are being blessed by them. This group is open to anyone and everyone as long as the wall is kept clean. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however if you intend to post on this groups wall please remember to use courtesy. In posting discussions, please follow Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

•• WALL•• Admins will, at our discretion, delete inappropriate posts, links and even members without warning or measures for appeal. If you think the post might be unacceptable, don't post it. This group is not the forum for "pushing the theological envelope". So feel free to join this group (we would love for you to!), share anything with us, and most importantly invite a friend to join as well as we share a little of God’s word each day! I believe that God is fixing to do a mighty work for He is the same God yesterday today and forever, He does not change I am believing that you will experience CHANGE as you seek God and many lives will be set free; many souls come to Christ, and many Healings take place ALL to the Glory of God…. If you or someone you know need help in the area of Drug or Alcohol or any type of addiction please send me a personal message here on Facebook or e-mail to me at [email protected]

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY DEVOTION

“STAND STRONG: MEN OF GOD IN A WEAK WORLD”

Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”

Men today are under pressure from every direction.

Pressure to quit.
Pressure to compromise.
Pressure to stay silent.
Pressure to carry burdens alone.

But God is still calling men to stand strong.

Not in pride.
Not in anger.
Not in ego.

But in faith.

The world says masculinity is dominance, but biblical manhood is responsibility, integrity, prayer, sacrifice, and obedience to God.

A real man of God is not perfect.
He is surrendered.

1. A MAN OF GOD STANDS EVEN WHEN IT IS HARD

David faced lions, bears, giants, and battles, but his confidence was in God.

Many men today fight silent battles:
Fear.
Temptation.
Discouragement.
Pressure.
Past mistakes.

But God says:
Do not quit.
Stand anyway.

Strength is staying faithful in the middle of the struggle.

2. A MAN OF GOD LEADS HIS HOME

Joshua said:
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

Your family needs more than provision.
They need prayer, wisdom, patience, love, and a godly example.

3. A MAN OF GOD PRAYS

Prayer is not weakness.
Prayer is warfare.

Jesus prayed constantly.
If Jesus prayed, how much more do we need to pray?

4. A MAN OF GOD GETS BACK UP

Peter failed, yet God restored him.

Your mistakes do not disqualify you.

God still restores.
God still heals.
God still calls men forward.

You are not finished.

PRAYER

Father, raise up strong men of God in this generation. Strengthen every man who feels tired today. Heal hidden wounds, restore passion for You, and teach us to walk in integrity, purity, wisdom, and faith.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: In a world of same-day deliveries, instant messaging, and microwave answers, the concept of waiting feels foreign even frustrating. Yet, some of God’s greatest works in our lives are forged not in the sudden, but in the stillness. When we are made to wait, it’s not a sign of God’s absence it’s often the very space where our faith deepens, our hearts are refined, and our trust in His goodness is proven real.

David, a man familiar with long seasons of waiting, penned this psalm not from the throne, but in the midst of battle and delay. He reminds us that the strength to endure delay without losing heart comes from believing believing that God is good and that His promises will still come to pass.

𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥: David said, “I had fainted” I would’ve given up, lost hope, thrown in the towel “unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” He didn’t say he saw it right away, or that everything turned around in a moment. No he chose to believe it before he saw it. And that’s the essence of faith.

Some of you reading this today are waiting for breakthrough waiting for healing, restoration, provision, or clarity. And in the silence, it’s tempting to wonder: Has God forgotten me? But the truth is, God’s delays are never His denials. Every divine pause has a purpose.

Waiting is where we learn to let go of control, to trust in God’s perfect timing, and to stop demanding that life follow our schedule. What we see as a delay, God sees as preparation. What feels like a holding pattern may actually be Him placing us in position for something greater than we could have imagined.

We serve a God who doesn’t rush but who never fails to be on time. And when we wait on Him when we stay strong, take heart, and hold onto hope He promises to strengthen us.

𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐀𝐬𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲:

• Am I trusting God in the waiting, or am I growing weary?
• Have I allowed impatience to rob me of peace and joy?

Waiting doesn’t mean doing nothing it means continuing to worship, to pray, to serve, and to believe, even when the answer hasn’t arrived.

Cultivate patience in the slow seasons. Remember: The fruit of the Spirit includes long-suffering not because God wants us to suffer, but because real love, deep joy, and lasting peace are often born in the waiting room of life.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, Today I choose to trust in Your timing. Even when the answers are slow and the doors seem closed, I will believe in Your goodness. Teach me to wait with faith, not frustration to see Your hand even when I don’t see the outcome. Strengthen my heart, Lord. Help me hold on to hope, knowing that You are never late. You are always working, always loving, always faithful. I surrender my timeline and embrace Yours.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Don’t despise the delay. It might just be the space where God is growing something beautiful in you. Be strong. Take heart. Wait on the Lord. He will not disappoint you.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟓, 𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟓 – 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Today, we pause to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Evangelist Jimmy Lee Swaggart, who went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2025, after suffering a cardiac event on Father’s Day, June 15. Though our hearts feel the weight of sorrow, we lift our eyes in hope, knowing that this mighty servant of God has stepped into glory and now rests in the presence of the One he loved and served so passionately.

Born on March 15, 1935, in Ferriday, Louisiana, Jimmy Swaggart became one of the most recognizable voices in modern evangelism. For more than six decades, he boldly preached the message of the Cross, calling sinners to repentance and saints to revival. His voice anointed by heaven carried across continents, drawing millions to the foot of the Cross.

He was not only a preacher but a worshipper, a soul-winner, and a man redeemed by grace. Through trials and triumphs, he never wavered in his calling. His music stirred the heart, his sermons shook the soul, and his legacy will echo through the halls of eternity.

By his side through every season was his beloved wife, Frances Swaggart his partner in life and ministry. In these final weeks, she scarcely left his hospital room, staying near him with unfailing love and unwavering strength. Her devotion was a living testimony of covenant love.

As the Swaggart family faced one of the most painful decisions of their lives, they did so in faith trusting the same God Jimmy preached for over 60 years. Though his earthly race has ended, his reward is eternal. Heaven is now home, and the faith he once preached, he now sees face to face.

𝐀 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐊𝐒𝐆𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 & 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓

Heavenly Father,

We thank You for the life and ministry of Evangelist Jimmy Lee Swaggart. You raised him up, You anointed him, and now You have called him home. Thank You for a life that touched millions, for sermons that shook nations, and for a heart that burned for souls.

We lift up Sister Frances Swaggart and the entire Swaggart family. Comfort them with Your presence. Give them peace that surpasses understanding. Surround them with strength, hope, and the unshakable assurance that Jimmy is now fully alive in Your glory. Remind them, Lord, that he is not gone he is just gone ahead.

Let his legacy inspire generations. Let the message of the Cross continue to thunder through those he trained, mentored, and influenced. May the fire of revival never go out.

We rejoice that Brother Swaggart now wears a crown of righteousness and walks the streets of gold. One day, we will join him in that great reunion around the throne of grace.

In Jesus’ mighty and victorious name we pray,
Amen.

T͟i͟t͟l͟e͟:͟ ͟R͟e͟d͟e͟e͟m͟i͟n͟g͟ ͟t͟h͟e͟ ͟T͟i͟m͟e͟

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐈𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭: In our fast-paced world, we’re surrounded by time-saving tools—smartphones, online calendars, voice assistants, and more. Yet, even with all these innovations, most of us still find ourselves racing against the clock, wishing for just a few more hours in the day. The pressure to get everything done often leaves us stressed, anxious, and spiritually drained. We go from one task to the next, trying to cram as much as we can into the limited time we have, often sacrificing peace for productivity.

But Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us of a profound truth: “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” This verse isn’t just poetic—it’s a prescription for peace. God has already appointed a time for everything that truly matters. He isn’t bound by our busyness. He isn’t rushing. He doesn’t measure success by how full our schedule is, but by how faithful we are in what He calls us to do.

The problem is not the lack of time, but the mismanagement of it. We allow the urgent to replace the important. We become so wrapped up in what we think needs to be done, that we neglect relationships, overlook moments to minister, and ignore the beauty around us. We arrive at the end of the day tired, empty, and sometimes spiritually disconnected.

When we don’t pause, we risk missing divine appointments—those God-ordained moments meant to bring blessing, insight, or even change. Sometimes, God’s best blessings are found in stillness, not speed. Some things—like healing, restoration, conversation, and connection—can’t happen on a tight schedule. They require room to breathe.

So, let’s release the pressure to fill every second and instead focus on what matters most. When we walk in step with God’s timing, we’ll find peace in the process and strength for the journey.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Lord, help me to slow down and seek You first. Rearrange my priorities so that I walk in alignment with Your will, not just my to-do list. Give me the discernment to recognize what truly matters today. I don’t want to miss a single moment You have planned for me—whether it’s an opportunity to serve, a chance to rest, or simply time spent in Your presence. Teach me to embrace the rhythm of Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Easter Devotion: “He Is Risen!”

Scripture: “He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”:Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

Opening Thought: Easter is more than a holiday—it’s the foundation of our faith. On this day, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and victory over sin. The empty tomb is not just a historical event—it is a present reality that changes everything for the believer. Let your heart be stirred again by the power of the resurrection.

Devotional Message: The message of Easter is clear: Jesus keeps His promises. He told His disciples that He would rise again on the third day—and He did. The resurrection was not a surprise to God. It was the plan all along. Through His death, Jesus paid the price for our sins. Through His resurrection, He broke the power of the grave and secured eternal life for all who believe in Him.

Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark the night, morning will come. The stone that sealed the tomb was rolled away—not so Jesus could get out, but so we could look in and see that He is alive. Death could not hold Him. And if we are in Christ, it cannot hold us either.

The resurrection is not just about eternity—it’s about today. Because He lives, we can live in hope, walk in victory, and trust in the unshakable truth that God is with us. No matter what circumstances surround you today, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life (Romans 8:11). You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. The cross proves His love; the resurrection proves His power.

Closing Thought: Let Easter renew your faith. Let it remind you that Jesus is not a memory—He is a living Saviour. When all seemed lost, He rose again. So today, lift up your head, for hope has a name, and His name is Jesus.

Prayer: Risen Saviour, I praise You for the victory of the cross and the power of the resurrection. Thank You for dying in my place and rising again so I might live. Help me to walk in the light of this truth every day. Fill my heart with resurrection joy and remind me that no situation is beyond Your power. Because You live, I can face tomorrow. Because You live, I am never alone. I celebrate You today and forevermore. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Speak it out: God promises He will be with us and provide exactly what is required for our day. He wants us to trust Him every day. God provided manna for the Israelites day by day. They had to trust Him each day to provide for what they needed. In our human pride it is difficult for us to have that trust in God.

We want assurance today that we will be provided for tomorrow. We work very hard to make sure that we have that assurance. It is much easier for us to stock up and prepare ourselves. What if we were as the Israelites traveling through the land with nothing except our faith and trust in God? They had no choice but to trust God to provide.

They had no means to do it themselves. Each day they trusted God and each day He came through for them. Sometimes we feel as if we don't have enough strength, or energy, or wisdom or courage to face the day. All the "what ifs" running through our minds.

Maybe it is because we are attempting to provide for yesterday and tomorrow with today's provision. "Give us this day our daily bread" Jesus said don't worry, He is aware of all that we need. He wants us to seek Him first and He takes care of tomorrow and the next day and the day after that. He always provides just what we need just when we need it.

Prayer: Help me get rid of anxiety about today and all the worry about what will or could happen, tomorrow or next week. I trust you will always provide for what my day requires, for what each circumstance requires and my life requires. Give me today Lord my daily bread I trust that you will provide tomorrow. Amen. Read Deuteronomy 33:25

Speak it out : Each time we show compassion, kindness, love and understanding toward others we honor God. Meeting the needs of others, above and beyond our own feelings and needs. It doesn’t require a formal title, but this service is of great importance to God.

Being available and willing, day or night to answer a call for help, spending time with the lonely, listening to those in distress, and being willing to drop whatever we are doing to answer a higher calling of service, making these Holy duties a priority in our lives. Simply loving in the name of Jesus. What a joy not a task to be in the service of our Lord.

Prayer: We make ourselves available for Your service today. Let Your loving kindness shine through us to all, so that our actions will speak Your love, louder than our words. What a joy and an honor, to be in Your service. Read: Philippians 2:3-5 - Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

04/15/2025

Speak it out : Seeking the approval of others often takes center stage in our thoughts and controls the way we act, and the decisions we make. We have a distorted idea that we need to please everyone. Well we can’t. There will always be someone who disapproves of our actions, or dislikes us.

It is God who needs to be center stage, when it comes to approval. Deep within each of us, there is a longing to be approved of by our Creator. Man’s approval cannot substitute or fulfill that desire in us and we can’t alter the truth of Jesus Christ to gain it. It is His seal of approval that satisfies our souls.

Prayer: My heart seeks to please you. Your approval is what I desire. I accept the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ Your Son, without compromise. Give me the strength to live my life, so that it reflects Your power, Glory and love to others. It is Your approval my souls seeks. Give me the wisdom and strength to serve You with my whole heart. In Jesus name.

Read: Galatians1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭: It is time for us to break free from the bo***ge of fear. It is all too easy for us to become intimidated and fearful when we are listening to the voice of our enemy. Satan is the master of using our fears to stifle us in the heat of the battle. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but it is spiritual and God has provided and equipped us with all that we need for the battle. We need to stop allowing Satan to torment us with our own fears.

When we hear a voice reminding us of our past, or whispering "what will everyone think?" or you will certainly fail; we know that voice is not the voice of the one who has told us "fear not". A line has been drawn in the sand and we need to wake up and cross it and step into enemy territory without fear and fully dressed in the Armor of God ready to win.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1st John 4:18 If we will simply trust in God and have faith in His ability, He will provide the power and the victory. In the presence of His perfect love our fears will cease.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: We thank you Lord that you are aware of Satan's tactics. We will not fear but trust in your protective love. You give us strength to face any circumstance with joy. Your presence calms our hearts and causes all fear to cease. Thank you for your faithfulness to us!

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝: 2 Timothy 1:7 - 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳; 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥.

12/31/2024

𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐭: Prayer is powerful, and when we pray for one another, we can expect to see the results of our petitions. Compassion needs to be at the heart of every prayer. Embracing each plea, as if it were our own. It’s not about how our words are composed, but the simple cry of compassion from our hearts.

Every word reaches His ears, and the answers always come. They may come that day or the next week, or the next year, but they do come in His perfect time. All of hell trembles when a child of God goes before their heavenly Father, who is anxiously waiting to meet every need.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: - Lord, fill us with compassion, giving us wisdom and strength to remain faithful to prayer for one another. We thank, you for the ability to come into your presence, knowing that you hear every word. We thank you for the answers, and praise you for all that you have done. In Jesus name we ask. Amen.

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝: James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
