This photo was taken last Thursday following the Week 20 Barrie Catch the Ace Draw. From the Barrie Catch the Ace Lottery proceeds, we were able to provide the Pavlik Foundation Kid's Pantry program with a $5,200 donation.

The Kids Pantry Program provides weekend food support to children in the Barrie community who face food insecurity. While school programs help during the week, many kids return home on Friday without knowing what they’ll eat over the weekend.

Every Friday afternoon, dozens of children across Barrie quietly receive something that makes a world of difference - a backpack filled with nutritious food. Packed with care and delivered with dignity, these backpacks ensure that kids who might otherwise face an empty fridge can count on healthy meals all weekend long.

Through your support of the Barrie Catch the Ace Lottery we are able to provide support for Ian and Sarah Pavlik's initiative. We encourage you to learn and support this program as well!!

One of the organizations supported through Barrie Catch the Ace is the incredible Kids Pantry Program operated by The Pavlik Foundation.

Kids Pantry provides discreet weekend food support for local children facing food insecurity. Every Friday, participating students receive backpacks filled with nutritious meals and snacks to help carry them through the weekend, right through to Monday breakfast.

Each backpack contains approximately:
• 10 meals and snacks
• 11 lbs of food
• 4 lbs of fresh fruits and vegetables

The program currently supports children across multiple Barrie schools and is completely community funded.

WE CAUGHT THE ACE.

Congratulations to Bill Gow of Springwater, who won the incredible final prize of $265,313 after revealing the Ace of Spades in Envelope #17.

This became the third-biggest jackpot in Barrie Catch the Ace history despite ending in just 20 weeks. Our two larger jackpots both lasted until Week 39.

Thank you to everyone who supported this unforgettable run in support of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147, the Rotary Club of Barrie, and local community initiatives.
